My Work
Welcome to my full online writing portfolio of content I've created while working at a local news station, contributing to multiple sports sites and as an undergrad. Included are links to my author pages from every outlet I've written for to date.
Additionally, I've included links to other published writing projects and my radio appearance.
I have worked as a Digital Content Producer at WAND News in Decatur, Illinois, since June 2025. At WAND, I am a Swiss Army knife, writing up breaking news, court updates, council/school board meetings, community events and University of Illinois articles.
The Vidette
I was an intern and later an Assistant News Editor for The Vidette, Illinois State University's online student newspaper. There I covered on-campus breaking news and events, board and SGA meetings, and wrote profile stories and columns. My sports coverage piece on the introductory press conference for Dr. Jeri Beggs, the first woman to serve as ISU's Athletic Director, earned Honorable Mention at the 2026 Illinois College Press Association awards.
I've been a staff writer at Turf Show Times since July 2021. My work there has included interviewing opposing site writers for pregame coverage, FanDuel-sponsored posts, NFL draft profiles, free agency, breaking news, and column-style opinion pieces.
I covered the Denver Broncos as a contracted contributor for Heavy Sports from August 2023 to May 2024. During my time with Heavy, I covered breaking news, roster transactions, trade rumors, and soundbites from press conferences and sports analysts.
